The Mongol expansion of the Asian continent during the period from 1215 to 1360 helped to stabilize the political process and redefined the Silk Road through Garkurm. The thirteenth century witnessed a Mongol-Afrangian alliance with an exchange of embassies and military cooperation with Cham and Palestine. Most of the European royal plaques between 1287-1288, as well as travelers Marco Polo and Monsieur William Rubrec, few European travelers traveled the entire Silk Road.
