How would you describe the shape of chile? What problems might this shape create for chile's government?

Chile is stretched on the North-South Axis, but very thin on the East-West axis, or in other words: it's very long and very narrow.

Some problems connected to this are based on the large cost of transportation: the distances between the cities are very large and in fact, the southern part of Chile is only reachable from Argentina by land.
