Bravery can help you to do something that is new, frightening, or dangerous. People may need bravery to speak out against injust

ice or persevere when a task is difficult. Think about an event in your life that required bravery. Write a personal narrative that recounts the event. Describe what happened and the impact the event had on your life.

Bravery is something that cannot be taught; it just comes naturally and can somewhat be considered as an instinct. You will always encounter challenges which will bring out the brave soul in you.

For instance, you and your younger sister are left at home while your parents went out to buy some groceries. Unfortunately, it rained hard, a lightning struck and the lights came off. You are in the living room while your sister was left alone upstairs, crying. You know for yourself that you are afraid of the dark, but you need to be your sister's knight in shining armor.

Despite being scared, you set it aside and decided to be brave and go get your sister upstairs. Now that is just one of the many instances where bravery comes out. You might not notice it, but there are a lot of simple instances where you use your bravery to cope with the situation.

Saving children from a burning house.

When I was young, one of my neighbors houses was on fire, and it happened to be an apartment building. Before we knew what was happening, we could see smoke from our windows, and the smell of melting steel and burning wood. As we rushed over to where the fire had originated, we knew that someone was going to have to go save the people still in the building, as the fire fighters would arrive soon, but it would be too late for the people inside. I volunteered myself to go in Because I was the smallest, and the quickest by far. I knew that I could be in and out in just seconds, and that would have saved lives, so that is exactly what I did. I ran into the building, trying to stay low, I breathed in only when I absolutely needed to. The fire had started near the top of the building, so I knew that I had time to reach almost all the floors before the building came down. as I neared the top, I could hear the voices of kids. Running even faster, I ran into all the rooms, but only found one child, I knew there was at least one more. So as I sprinted up the stairs to the top floor, where it was almost all on fire. I saw two more kids. Grabbed them both, One in my left arm, one on my right, and the third was just holding onto my back. As I was leaving the top floor, I heard a crack, and my weight on the frail iron steps had broken the stairs. At this point, I could try to run all the way across the building to the other side, and reach those steps, but I knew, by the time I did that, that part of the building would be almost gone. So I immediately ran to the closest room I could find. I told all the kids to hold on tight, and I started to climb down the building, from the bottom of the fifth floor. I was nearing the bottom, only one more floor to go, then Ill be close enough, I thought. but out of no where, a microwave caught my eye from above. I looked up, but it was almost too late, I leaned as close to the building as I could, and the microwave missed me. I tried to proceed to climb down, but noticed that my weight had gotten a lot lighter, the microwave took down one of the children, caught his arm and brought him down. As I looked down in fear of what I was going to see, I saw the child unconscious, laying near the microwave. Now close enough to the bottom, I leaned back and let go, falling to the ground and safely handling all the children, except for Sam. Sam was the child that got hit by the microwave. Sam suffered from blunt force trauma to the head, but emerged from the hospital perfectly fine. He had just knocked himself out cold from landing on his head the way he did. After that whole incident, I've had a severe fear of fires, but known that that situation made me a better person.

The theme that the passage implies about children and learning is :C. Children who learn facts and conform will likely succeed in life. Even though the speech is described from the narrator's perspective, we have to focus on the words, not on the narrator's attitude. With all the strictness and seriousness, all the people on the scene tried to show the importance of appealing to facts and of being pragmatic, meaning that only if kids followed this way of learning they would succeed.

Explain the use of narrative structure in "A Jury of Her Peers," focusing particularly on the notion of "resolution." How does t
slavikrds [6]

Answer:

Explanation:

"A Jury of Her Peers'' was written by Susan Glaspell. She employs a narrative tone to describe the story. The resolution forms part of the story and it's where the story ends. It is at this point that conflicts are resolved and the story comes to an end. The plot was considered as a feminist literature because two female characters were trying to come up with a solution to a mystery. Mrs Hale and Mrs Peters came up with the conclusion that Mrs Wright killed her husband, and her actions are justified. The circumstances behind the death of John Wright leaves the townsmen in a state of confusion as to what could have led to his death. Mrs Wright killed her husband because she was physically abused by her. Mrs Hale and Mrs Peters hide the evidence against her because they understand how it feels to be humiliated and oppressed by a man. In the end, Mrs Wright is granted freedom.

Artyom0805 [142]

The phrase whether they would or not means that they were were tasked with the responsibility of carrying out the obligation against their will.

The phrase tells us that the Lords had no say on the tasks that they were asked to do. They were to accompany the rebels, they had no deciding power here.

This shows that their will has been taken from them. The person who is sending them on this errand has absolute power over them.
