The statement that tells us the conflict that lies with the two characters is: Guildenstern is comfortable with uncertainty, while Rosencrantz is bothered by the uncertainty of their situation. Option A.

What is a conflict in a story?

Conflict is the name given to these issues in fiction. Conflict is more specifically defined as a thwarted, jeopardized, or competing desire. It generally occurs when a character tries to do something, but something else interferes. Perhaps the character aspires for something but falls short.

Conflict is a fight between competing forces in a narrative. Conflict begins when characters take action to oppose those forces. There is no story if there is nothing to overcome. The storyline of a novel is created and advanced by conflict.

Ros and Guil show the confliuct here based on the fact that Ros is showing that he has become tired of the inconsistencies that they face. Gul on the other hand does not seem to be bothered by it .
