Central Idea: B High school classes give too much homework

Although high school students are often perceived as lazy, it is in fact quite the opposite, as many are involved in after school activities, such as sports, tutoring, part-time jobs, or musical endeavors. On top of these extracurricular events, high school students are often given way too much homework. This is completely outrageous, as they are ultimately forced to do hours worth of arguably useless assignments. Also, it can be easily deduced that because of the ridiculous amount given to them, they are forced to quickly rush through each problem given, ruining any hopes of the student actually learning from the task at hand. Excessive homework also destroys a student's sleeping schedule as it makes it impossible for them to accomplish all of their daily routines, including eating meals, spending time with family, and maintain their hygiene. In conclusion, too much homework takes student's away from class as their awful sleeping schedule disallows them to concentrate during school hours, creating a domino effect that will eventually also affect their grades.

This is a basic foundation for your paragraph, feel free to look up studies online of like how many hours a student needs to sleep per day, or the average hours of homework given to students in your particular area. :)
