It is important for people with HIV/AIDS to keep their hands free from germs as much as possible because C. AIDS compromises the body's immune system.

HIV/AIDS stands for Human Immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immune deficiency syndrome.

The term immune deficiency signifies that the immune system of the individual is compromised and does not work properly. Therefore, any contact with germs and other diseases will likely infect the individual.
A person suffering from HIV/AIDS will develop sickness quicker than the average person and will find it more difficult to recover from any form of sickness.

How does fitzgerald use gatsby's parties to present a satirical portrait of the roaring twenties?
tino4ka555 [31]
There is a lot of illegally shipped alcohol, which everyone gets's drunk and becomes rowdy. This was during the time prohibition was an illegal and organized crime involving "speakeasies" and such places that would smuggle alcohol. Many of guests were people who were usually dying to get in contact with Gatsby for maybe a job or some big break, they wanted to be rich and famous like him. It shows the "moral decay" and a huge amount of materialism that was running rampant in the 1920's when consumerism was on the rise. In the 1920's it was all fun and games until the huge economic depression of the 30's.

In The Kite Runner, why does the author have Assef return as a Taliban leader?
natita [175]
The idea is to present how people who stayed there and lived there with all the dreadful things that have happened have become and how those who decided to not be a part of it have become. The man who was once just a poor boy and was tortured by many, has due to circumstances become a Taliban leader who now tortures others as a sign of power.
