Answer:

Mrs. Flowers’s words

Explanation:

In this passage, we learn that Marguerite is embarrassed of how the dress she is wearing is being shown to Mrs. Flowers. The dress is being taken off of her very quickly and with no concern for her feelings. She describes feeling how it went over her head and arms. Nevertheless, we learn that Mrs. Flowers shares her embarrassment, or is at least concerned with Marguerite's feelings. We learn this because Mrs. Flowers asks Mrs. Henderson to stop, saying she does not need to see the inside.

review lines 28-32 in scene 4 and duncan's lines in scene 6 how does duncan's language in these passages convey his character
leonid [27]

The lines 28-32 in scene 4 and the lines of Duncan in scene 6 shows the language of Duncan portraying his character that he is not scared at all. It shows that Duncan is brave and fearless to whatever danger he will face.

Explanation:

Duncan is a comparatively low character in Macbeth, mainly because he gets assassinated early on. In Act I, we are presented to Duncan as the good king of Scotland. Duncan begins by examining if the Thane of Cawdor has been executed yet, and remembering the fact that it’s hard to know how to trust.

How does the climactic ending turn the tables on Dees’s use of terms like “backward” and “heritage”? In the book Everyday Use by
ZanzabumX [31]

“Everyday use" by Alice Walker was set in the late 1960s or early 1970s, a tumultuous time when many African Americans were struggling to redefine and seize control of their social, cultural, and political identity in American society.

The time in which “Everyday Use” took place was an era when groups of all ideologies—some peaceful, some militant—arrived on scene. The Black Panthers and Black Muslims were groups created to resist what they saw as a white-oppressive society.

The novel is about an African-American Mama and her two daughters, Maggie and Dee. The plot surrounds The Quilts which are full of the family heritage. And the Mama wants to give two of the most important Quilts to Maggie while Dee wants to prevent the situation arguing that Maggie would not be careful enough to take care of the Quilts and they would get destroyed.

At the ending of the story Dee tell her sister that times are different now, that she would never know what she is missing if she stayed there living with their mother, that clinging to the "heritage" or acting as always she will never progress and do something of her life. That continuing to live in the same way would always make her go "backward" instead of forward.

Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

Whether stringing streetlights too close together along a highway or brightening a building with midday cheer in the dead of night, practices like these can be both distracting and wasteful.

Nighttime photos of major metropolitan areas often show this in amazing intensity, with the most brilliant blankets of sky glow emitting dusky, smoldering blazes dotted with shining hotspots.
