The correct answer is D. Imagery is made up of sensory appeals

Explanation:

In writing, the imagery refers to a literary device in which smells, textures, sounds, images or flavors are vividly described, this occurs mainly as the writer appeal to one of the senses or uses sensory appeals that refer to descriptive details related to one or more of the five senses. The use of imagery through sensory appeals does not only provide aesthetic elements to texts but also allows the reader to understand realistically the elements being described. Considering this, the relationship between imagery and sensory language is that imagery is made up of sensory appeals.

"Imagery is made up of sensory appeals" Best explains the relationship between the two.

Imagery as the name says, paints a mental picture in a text, while sensory details give more life to that image, describing how it smells, or how it feels or tastes. In other words, they compliment each other perfectly.

postnew [5]
Sentence four does not add any new or relevant information to the paragraph. It is simply restating the argument, which should be clear to the reader through the facts and examples that the author is using. There are so many other great details in this paragraph, that "it is clear" becomes redundant and unnecessary.
