One reason for these added pieces of flourish is because when many of the original world maps were being made, people were very superstitious, and these drawings gave them comfort.

Correct answer:

During the time of the conquest the cartographers played a fundamental role. Religion was another reason for exploration and colonization. Cartographers in their haste to publish "newer" and "better" maps used in areas still unexplored decorations with angels, spirits or demons to represent the unknown.

Explain why the british thought they had the right to tax everything
Mandarinka [93]
The British king thought he was the divine ruler appointed by God, for one, so he thought he was all powerful. The settlers they were taxing were originally British, most of them at least, and so they thought it was their natural right to tax their own people. They would have taxed everything because it was a way to make money, and they would have done so simply because they could. They thought that they had the right to tax everything because, as I said before, they thought they were a divine ruler appointed by God, and therefore, they thought that that gave them the right to tax everything.

11. In nineteenth century America, why did people often develop a stronger allegiance to their state or
Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer:In the nineteenth century America, people developed stronger alliance to their state or region instead of the whole nation.

Explanation:People developed stronger alliance with their state or region because there was a lot of slavery and many parts of America didn't agree with that or they didn't agree with other rules/customs that were used in the individual state so they only cared about their state, if they agreed with what was happening in their state.
