Answer:  The correct answer is :  The enslaved Africans were chained, whipped, brutally treated, there was not enough space for so many slaves, they gave them very little food and little water. There was a lot of confusion between them and most were sick. When they died they were thrown overboard.

This is still true because there are still manufacturing companies out there that are not really following protocols and procedures that are geared towards a green environment. The sulfate concentrations in lakes show little changes because contaminants are still present within the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and troposphere of the Earth. It would take a long time before such lakes will be rejuvenated into their original state.

Wha was the purpose of the northwest ordinance? Plz help
Mariana [72]
To prevent the spread of slavery.

The land allocated in the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 was the first official territory of the United States. Guidelines were set up for creating states out of the territory, including how aspiring states could claim/divide up the land and how governments were to be formed.
The Northwest Ordinance also established some guarantees of natural rights that were eventually adopted into the Bill of Rights. Protections offreedom of religion, habeus corpus, and fair punishments were included for the land decreed by the Northwest Ordinance.
Slavery was made illegal in the territory by the Northwest Ordinance. This is especially important because it made northern states free of slavery, which eventually increased tensions between the north and the south, contributing to the Civil War. Hope this helps!

Answer:

Corruption in India is an all-pervasive phenomenon and as some believe corruption has become a way of life in India. Its scale and spread has increased significantly. A notable feature is that there has been a mutually reinforcing collusion at the political and bureaucratic level. It has seeped to the top echelon of central, state and local government. Further, the malaise is not confined to the executive arm of the government alone; it has afflicted the legislature, the judiciary, the media and also independent professions.

With the scale given in map what can will be known
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

C. Distance between two place

Explanation:

Scale represent the ratio of size in a map. For example, if a map contains a scale of 1 : 100,000, it means that 1 cm in the map represent 1 Km in actual distance.

This can be used to measure distance between two places.

For example, Let's say that in a 1:100.000 map the distance between Washington and New York is around 369 cm. This means that the we can measure actual distance between Washington and New York  by using the map alone (which is around 369 Km)
