Local libraries are places people go to vote during elections. 

Using a library computer you can look up information on the voting process. There are hundreds of sites with information. You could also speak with a librarian, library staff are full of wisdom and love being asked questions.

Watching the news during election time is very likely the most helpful way to learn everything about the election and its process.
