The best way to turn down an impaired driver, is to tell them directly that you don’t want to travel with them. It needs to be told clearly to the impaired driver that he is not only putting others life in danger but is also putting himself in danger because in order to drive a person should have a clear and sharp view to see distant objects beforehand and adjust speed accordingly.
