Why did Mecca's leaders try to prevent the spread of Muhammad's message

History

Answer:

Mecca leaders were worried about losing their political and economic power. The expansion of Islam, the new religion preached by Muhammad, contradicted traditional beliefs and practices of the Arab tribes. Its condemnation of idolatry and its monotheistic character was particularly troubling for them. The Quraysh tribe heads  in Mecca controlled the Kaaba - a key religious place still important in Islam -, and their political and religious power rested upon managing access to polytheistic shrines. So, Muhammad´s doctrine of one God - Allah - questioned their legitimacy and sociopolitical position.

How did the Reconstruction amendments grant rights to African Americans , and how did southern states try and limit those rights
Alchen [17]

Answer:

Long before the Union victory in 1865, Congress prepared for the many challenges the nation would face at war’s end, particularly the integration of four million newly emancipated African Americans into the political life of the nation, and the readmission to federal representation of former states in rebellion. Congressional Reconstruction included the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth amendments to the Constitution which extended civil and legal protections to former enslaved people.

Explain how the boston tea party led to more tension between great britain and the colonist
DIA [1.3K]
It was a reaction from the colonist for Great Britain taxing the colonies so much. It led to more tension because it was a straight forward act against Great Britain, and one that was slightly violet. It was showing Great Britain that the colonist were definitely fed up with how they were being traeted by the mother country.
