Answer:

Mecca leaders were worried about losing their political and economic power. The expansion of Islam, the new religion preached by Muhammad, contradicted traditional beliefs and practices of the Arab tribes. Its condemnation of idolatry and its monotheistic character was particularly troubling for them. The Quraysh tribe heads in Mecca controlled the Kaaba - a key religious place still important in Islam -, and their political and religious power rested upon managing access to polytheistic shrines. So, Muhammad´s doctrine of one God - Allah - questioned their legitimacy and sociopolitical position.

Kryger [21]
During the 1820s, political leaders realized that there was a direct correlation between education and the stability of the nation. This statement is absolutely true. The political leaders of America felt that for the nation to grow, it is important to educate the youth of the society. Then America can grow at a faster rate than it was growing. The leaders also felt the importance of including ethics and morality within the curriculum of schools so that the generation going to school would also develop a good morale and help in overall improvement of the society.

99 POINTS!!!! & Brilliant!!!!
What was the temperance movement?
lawyer [7]
The temperance movement truly started in the 1820's when people started thinking that beer and wine brought evil spirits into the body. The movement was not originally against alcoholism, but for the elimination of evil spirits. The movement spread rapidly, and in 12 years they had 1,250,000 members. The group was called The American Temperance Society, and they were against beer and wine.

The government tried to assist in the movement, and in Great Britain, they heavily taxed the pubs. Movements all over the world were put in place to regulate drinking in public bars. This meant you had to have a license and there where certain opening times.

The movement declined when the crime rate went through the rood due to mafias. The government also stopped assisting the movement because they knew the beer alcohol would still be sold, and they wanted to tax it.

Hope this Helps! :)

What is the
peaceful transfer of power and/or the capitol riots.
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

Answer below

Explanation:

A peaceful transfer of power is the time when the current president informs the newly elected president of what is going on in the government. For example when Obama got elected, Bush's staff trained Obamas staff. They taught them their duties and how to run a good office. (And then Bush of course informed Obama of his duties).

Trump however did not want a peaceful transfer of power. Instead he used psychology to warp his followers minds into thinking he won (EVEN THOUGH HE OBVIOUSLY DID NOT!!).

This led to a lot of protest from the Trumpies bc they were looking at fake news and believing it. So the capital riots on Jan 6th happened because earlier that morning Trump told his followers to protest against the results of the election. So they did.

They broke into the Congress building, robbed the place, killed some people, broke some glass, etc. It was a domestic terrorist attack. And Trump, of course told them to keep doing it even though it was putting our congress-people's lives in danger.

Ik, my grammer is horrid in this, but I'm too lazy to fix it.
