Explanation: Well, Lincoln did not respond directly to Taney's edict, but he did address the issue in his message to Congress that July. He justified the suspension through Article I, Section 9, of the Constitution, which specifies a suspension of the writ “when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it.” So of course the answer is B). Lincoln suspended these rules because he felt it was necessary in order to put down the rebellion within the southern states. ❤️hope this helps❤️

Why was the 18th amendment repealed by the 21st amendment?
olya-2409 [2.1K]

The correct answer is: "It was unpopular with a majority of Americans and also difficult to enforce".

The 18th amendment to the US Constitution was issued in 1917 and declared a nationwide prohibition of intoxicating liquors, which banned both the production and sale of alcoholic beverages. Subsequently the Volstead Act was issued too, for the enforcement of this 18th amendment.

Although there was a decrease in alcohol consumption the enforcement of these regulations was extremely complicated, criminal organizations arose and started to sell alcohol in the black markets. Moreover, the public opinion started to reject the Prohibition in the 1920s decade. In 1932 President Franklin D. Roosevelt claimed for its derogation and in 1933 the 21st amendment to the US Contitution was passed to repeal the previous 18th amendment. It is the only time in the US history that one amendment is only issued to overrule a previous one.

Explanation:

The society is tied together by social accord, in which parts of the society accept upon, and act collectively to succeed, what is most beneficial for society as a unity is the view of Functionalists. It does not support bodies to get an effective part in shifting their social circumstances, yet when such modification may avail them.

This procedure resembles society within a macro-level familiarization, which is a deep focus on the cultural edifices that mold community as a quantity and views at both social formation and social roles.
