Answer:

P(AnB)=0.52 , which i guess is not in the option

Explanation:

While investigating customer complaints, the customer relations department of Sonic Air found that 15 percent of the flights arrive early and 25 percent arrive on time. Additionally, 65 percent of the flights are overbooked, and 72 percent are late or not overbooked. One Sonic Air flight will be selected at random. What is the probability that the flight selected will be late and not overbooked?

Probability is the likelihood that an event will occur or not. that an event will occur or it will not occur is always less than one

P(AuB)=P(A)+P(B)-P(AnB)

P(AuB)=probability that 72 percent are late or not overbooked.

P(A=probability that 85 percent are late(1-15%)

P(B)=probability that 35% are not over booked(1-65%)

P(AnB)= probability that the flight selected will be late and not overbooked ?

Going by the given parameters

72%=85%+35%-P(AnB)

120%-72%

P(AnB)=52 percent

P(AnB)=0.52 , which i guess is not in the option
