I'd classify it as formal. It gives an initial and a full name. The sincerely really isn't very warm or personal.

Which lines in this excerpt from Book 12 of Homer's Odyssey reveal that the monster Scylla cannot be defeated in battle, even by
Artyom0805 [142]
Although you have not provided the needed excerpt, here are key quotes from Book 12 that show Scylla could not be defeated.

“For Scylla is not mortal; moreover she is savage, extreme, rude, cruel, and invincible. There is no help for it; your best chance will be to get by her as fast as you ever can,” This kind was spoken by the Goddess Circe.

“Scylla pounced sown suddenly upon us and snatched up my six best men.” This shows that even his best men couldn’t have the chance to fend off the sudden Scylla that devoured them.

Hope this helps!

match the following: group of answer choices amicus curiae [ choose ] appellate court [ choose ] brief [ choose ] circuit courts
dusya [7]

Latin for "friend of the court" is "amicus curiae." Amicus briefs, sometimes known as "amicus curiae briefs" informally, are legal briefs submitted to appellate courts by amicus curiae.

Are amicus curiae briefs effective ?

I have no doubt that the Supreme Court appreciates excellent amicus curiae filings despite its busy docket. Amicus filings give the Justices information and viewpoints that help them make decisions in complicated matters. The majority of the cases before this court, according to Justice Black, "involve issues that touch considerably more individuals than the immediate record parties" (346 U.S. 947).

These types of situations usually call for information that is beyond the disputants' knowledge to be resolved wisely. The conundrum has been that only specific sorts of affiliations frequently show up as court buddies. For instance, business organizations submit fewer amicus briefs than the issues merit.
