I believe the answer is: D. Island finches did not have beaks of the same size and shape.

From this observation, Darwin created a hypothesis that the size and shape of the beak is different depending on the type of food that These birds eats.
This led to the theory of evolution which conveys that organization change overtime in order to adapt and ensure their survivability.

During the trip to Galapagos Islands, the observation that led Charles Darwin to suspect that organisms change over time was that Island finches did not have beaks of the same size and shape.

Further Explanations:

Charles Robert Darwin was a British biologist and Geologist considered for his achievements in the concept of evolution. His proposal that all the species of nature have descended over time span from a common ancestor is widely accepted in present days and is also considered as one of the fundamental theories in science. He also stated that the struggle for existence leaves the same effect as involved in selective breeding.

Darwin's voyage to Galapagos Island gave him a much lot than he expected. The Island wildlife left him with a handful of Species to continue his experiment. Darwin spent almost 2 months of 1853 on the island and brought several Galapagos with him. In the beginning Darwin though for the expedition was just to visit the place being privileged for natural history. He with his observation was able to state the theory that organism physic changes with time as the finches on the Island were not having beaks of the same size.

What was the three main causes of Industrial revolution ?
yanalaym [24]

Answer: 1) scientific revolution that preceded industrial revolution and which took place in the European Nortwest (science free of religious dogmatism), 2) progressive rational/empiric philosophy of Enlightenment (economic and consequently also political liberalism), 3) free access to raw materials in colonies (Africa, Americas and Asia).

Explanation: Scientic revolution introduced (not completely but almost completely) a mechanistic and materialistic metaphor of the world....so in the 19th century this perspective became predominant (soon after it was an organicist/Darwinian perspective), Enlightenment questioned divine rights of royal power (medieval and ancient idea) and introduced rights of man and consequently idea of society free of all economic and political limitations and then there were vast lands oveseas that could supply necessary material. What makes part of all that is French revolution, first machines and slavery (which abolished during the 19th century).
