Answer:

G proteins. (Ans. B)

Explanation:

Metabotropic receptors are also called neurotransmitter receptor, they are indirectly linked with ions channels through the signal introductions mechanism on the plasma membrane of the cell & activating G-proteins. The Metabotropic receptor is activated by specific neurotransmitters (is known as a chemical messenger which delivers a signal across a chemical synapse, from 1 nerve cell to another target neuron).

G protein which is also called guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, that behaves as molecular switches inside the cells & they are involved in delivering the signals from stimuli outside the cell to its inside.

Control and experimental groups. They repeated their experiment several times and found the results were the same.
Ira Lisetskai [31]

Answer: Experience 1 is the one that has the greatest reliability.

Explanation:    Because of this potential variation, biological experiments need to have a large sample size and preferably be repeated several times.  With more samples and repeating the experiment more often, the probability of arriving at a wrong conclusion due to random variation is diminished. As experience 1 has had several repetitions, it is the experience with a more reliable result.

When walking in a tropical forest you come upon a 5 foot tall plant that does not produce flowers or seeds. In which of these gr
Minchanka [31]

C. ferns.

Explanation:

The ferns are ancient plants that have managed to survive until the present. They are not closely related to the dominant plants nowadays, the flowering plants, but instead they are closely related with plants that have gone extinct tens and hundreds of millions years ago. Even though the ferns are not the dominant plants, they have managed to find a niche and firmly hold onto it, so they remained widespread, normally occupying the lower layers of the forests.

Unlike the flowering plants that produce flowers and then seeds in order to reproduce, that is not the case with the ferns. The ferns actually reproduce through spores, being widely dispersed by the wind and managing to spread out and reproduce over relatively large territory very quickly.

The endocrine system regulates the body through hormone release. Like the nervous system, what does the endocrine system help ma
Oliga [24]

Answer:

How is the endocrine system related to the nervous system in terms of its regulatory activity?

For one, the endocrine system uses chemical signaling (hormones, produced by glands) while the nervous system uses electrical signaling (neural impulses). The signal transmission of the nervous system is fast because neurons are interconnected, but the functions are more short-lived.
