A genotype is all of the POSSIBLE combinations of alleles that could POSSIBLY be expressed, a genotype is generally very large.

A phenotype is what is ACTUALLY expressed.

A good example is eye color...the possible eye colors in a human are green, blue, brown ect, these are genotypes. If a person has blue eyes, that is their personal phenotypic eye color, you can observe it. cure.eeus · 8 years ago 0 Thumbs up 0 Thumbs down Comment Report Abuse genotype is to phenotype as quantitative data is to qualitative data.

they are alike because genotype is a 2 letter code while phenotype is a physical description and quantitative data is data using numbers and qualitative data is data using physical descriptions hope this helps

Is controlling homeostasis a conscious or unconscious process?
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

It is an unconcious process

Explanation:

Homeostasis is when the body is made sure to have a constant environment inside so that the body can work at it's optimum conditions .... constant temperature, constant pH etc ... you do sweat when you feel hot but you can't control it... your mind just tells it to... vadodilation and vasoconstriction for a constant temperature occurs for a constant temperature as well(when vessels dilate and constrict), your mind allows the vessels to do so without you thinking about it.
