Answer:

meanders

oxbow lakes

waterfalls

Explanation:

River erosion is the carving of the earth’s surface by a river. There are four major ways that a river erodes;  attrition, solution, abrasion and hydraulic action. Waterfalls are mainly found upstream because the water moves at higher velocity (as a result of higher gradient in watershed regions) hence the water has a higher vertical erosion. Meanders and oxbow lakes are formed downstream where the gradient is low and water has a stronger horizontal erosion than vertical erosion.

The rest of the choices are due to surface runoff erosion, especially on soil with no vegetation to break the running water.

World oil reserves amount to about 10,000 EJ, and humankind uses energy at the rate of roughly 18 TW. If all our energy came fro
Volgvan

Answer:

t=17.61 years.

Explanation:

Given that

Reserve of energy = 10,000 EJ

Energy used by human = 18 TW

We know that

1\ E= 10^{18}

1\ T= 10^{12}

So

Reserve\ of\ energy = 10,000 \times10^{18} J

Reserve\ of\ energy = 10^{22} J

Energy\ used\ by\ human = 18 \times10^{12}\ W

Lets t time after energy will be  exhaust

So

18 \times10^{12}\times t=10^{22}

t=\dfrac{10^{22}}{18 \times10^{12}}\ s

t=5.55\times 10^8 \ s

We know that

1 year = 365 days

1 year = 365 x 24 hr

1 year = 365 x 24 x 3600 s

1year =3.15\times 10^7\ s

So

t=\dfrac{5.55\times 10^8 }{3.15\times 10^7}

t=17.61 years.

List several ways in which governments control business?
Drupady [299]
A key finding from this work was that job creation in the United States was not coming from large companies, but small independently owned businesses. It recommended that government policy should target indirect rather than direct strategies with a greater focus on the role of small firms. Over the past 35 years the level of government interest in entrepreneurship and small business development as potential solutions to flagging economic growth and rising unemployment has increased. It helped to spawn a new field of academic study and research.
