If multiple lesions are treated, you would report the most complex lesion procedure first and the others using modifier:
Aloiza [94]
Modifier -51 is used to identify multiple lesion treatment. Modifier 51 multiple procedure indicates that several procedures were performed by the same health provider at the same session. The most expensive procedure should be listed first without the modifier. The subsequent ones should then be listed with the modifier attached.

Explain how population sizes in nature are regulated
goblinko [34]

Answer:

Understanding Populations

Section 1  How Populations Change in Size

Objectives

Describe the three main properties of a population.

Describe exponential population growth.

Describe how the reproductive behavior of individuals can affect the growth rate of their population.

Explain how population sizes in nature are regulated.

What Is a Population?

A population is a group of organisms of the same species that live in a specific geographical area and interbreed. A population is a reproductive group because organisms usually breed with members of their own population.

Properties of Populations

Density is the number of individuals of the same species that live in a given unit of area. Dispersion is the pattern of distribution of organisms in a population. A population’s dispersion may be even, clumped, or random. Size, density, dispersion, and other properties can be used to describe populations and to predict changes within them.

How Does a Population Grow?

A population gains individuals with each new offspring or birth and loses them with each death. The resulting population change over time can be represented by the equation below.

Growth rate is an expression of the increase in the size of an organism or population over a given period of time. It is the birth rate minus the death rate. Overtime, the growth rates of populations change because birth rates and death rates increase or decrease.  For this reason, growth rates can be positive, negative, or zero.

For the growth rate to be zero, the average number of births must equal the average number of deaths. If the adults in a population are not replaced by new births, the growth rate will be negative and the population will shrink.Explanation:

Which protective covering of the brain provides passageways for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to drain into the superior sagittal si
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

arachnoid mater

Explanation:

CSF is gradually reabsorbed into the blood at the same rate at which it is formed to maintain the constant pressure. The arachnoid mater has finger-like extensions that project into the dural venous sinuses, especially the superior sagittal sinus. The projections of arachnoid mater are called arachnoid villi and a group of arachnoid villi is called an arachnoid granulation. Arachnoid villi are the structures through which cerebrospinal fluid is drained into the superior sagittal sinus and is reabsorbed into the bloodstream.

Which of the following is true of the light dependent reaction but not of the light independent reaction?
nignag [31]

Explanation: The light-dependent reactions utilize light energy to produce two molecules required for the following stage of photosynthesis: the energy warehouse molecule ATP and the decreased electron transport NADPH. In plants, the light reactions occur in the thylakoid membranes of organelles termed chloroplasts.Oct 26, 2016  thats a explanation for u hope it heled [;   dand my hand hurts        ];
