Answer:

  • uses persuasive language and images.
  • promotes a specific ideology or belief.
  • omits negative details relevant to the belief.

Explanation:

Propaganda is information that is spread in order to influence an audience and convince them of a particular point of view or ideological position. However, this information is not objective and does not serve the purpose of informing the public. Propaganda tends to use loaded images and language in order to be persuasive. It also promotes a single view of an event, and omits negative details that are relevant to this belief.

Answer:

B) Uses persuasive language and images.

C) Promotes a specific ideology or belief.

F) Omits negative details relevant to the belief.

Explanation:

Propaganda is illustrated as a concerted set of messages that are chiefly inclined towards influencing or manipulating the opinions or behavior of the audience. The term is employed in negative connotation especially for politicians as they propose grand claims and messages falsely in order to get the results in their favor.

As per the question, the details that exemplify the characteristics of propaganda would include the '<u>use of persuasive language and images</u>' that would help influence the audience positively. It <em>'</em><u><em>promotes a specific belief'</em></u> that aids to manipulate the opinions of the masses in their favor and it '<u>omits the negative details which are significant to the belief</u>' due to the fear of the creation of conflicting opinions that possesses a threat to losing their influence over the audience. Thus, <u>options B, C, and F</u> are correct answers.

Michele is a sales agent who has a Korean client seeking to purchase a new home. Michele reasons that her client may want to liv
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

Michele is guilty of violating the Fair Housing Act

Explanation:

The Fair Housing Act mandates that all landlords, sales agents, lenders, buyers and renters be aware of practises that are discriminatory and not engage in it. This act is part of the Civil Rights law in America and enacted by Congress.

Examples of discriminatory practises include setting different prices for a house or apartment, delay or refusal to perform maintenance for select tenants or restricting renting or buying privileges based on gender, race or nationality.

Michele assumes her client who is Korean may want to live in an area dominated by Koreans and only shows homes that are in the Korean dominated neighborhood. What Michele did here was restricting or limiting renting or sale of property based on nationality.

On Romeo and Juliet, do women play very active roles in the first scene?
miskamm [114]

I am currently reading Romeo and Juliet in my English class. In the first scene, a capulet (juliets family) and a montague (romeos family) are fighting due to a history of the two families hating eachother. There are only a few moments where Romeo's mother comes over to tell her husband to exclude himself from the fight. Juliet's mother also tells her husband to stop. These two women only had one line at this moment. After prince tels them to quit fighting Lady Montague (Romeo's Mother) asks where Romeo is. <u>Only three lines given to these women, so really no, women do not have active roles in the first scene.</u>
