You would have to do distribution you would do 5(2x) which would give you 10 and 5(10) which gives you 50 so your equation would be -60=10x+50 then you would subtract 50 from both sides which would give you -110 your equation would be -110=10x divided 10 on both sides and your answer would be x=-11

Christa went shopping for back to school clothes.
She paid a total of 176 dollars before the tax was added on.
Now, how much will she be paying if the sales tax is 6% what was the total amount she paid.
Solutions:
=> 176 dollars * 6% to get the amount
=> 6% / 100% = 0.06
=> 176 dollars * .06 = 10.56
Now, let’s add to get the answer
=> 176 dollars + 10.56 dollars = 186.56 dollars

To make a square for x²+bx=c, add( \frac{1}{2} b)²on both side
in this case, b is-3/4, half of b is -3/8, and (-3/8)² is 9/64, so you add 9/64 to both side.

If 5/2 kg of carrots cost $3,how much will 3/2 kg cost?
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer:

first you find out how much will 1/2 kg of carrot cost, that way you can multiply it by 3 to get what 3/2 cost.

So, 3÷ 5 = 0.6 per 1/2 kg. Then 0.6 × 3 = 1.8 dollars for 3/2 kg

Could someone help me with this please!

Angles 1, 3, and 4 make up a straight line.
Thus, 3x + 90 + 3x - 6 = 180 (angle sum of straight line)
6x - 6 = 90
6x = 96

x = 16
Now angle 1 becomes 3(16) = 48
Angle 1, 2, and 3 also make up a straight line.
Thus, angle 2 + 48 + 90 = 180
angle 2 + 138 = 180
angle 2, therefore, becomes 42. In essence, (A)

The fair spinner shown in the diagram above is spun.
Katena32 [7]

Unable to provide a definitive answer due to lack of diagram.

Answer: 1/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Multiples of 6:

Multiples of 6 are numbers obtained when 6 is multiplied by an integer. Such as

(6*1) = 6, (6*2)=12, (6*3) = 18..... and so on.

Probability is calculated by finding the ratio of the required outcome and total possible outcomes.

Probability = required outcome / Total possible outcomes

P(multiple of 6) = number of multiples of 6 / total number of possible outcomes

If number of 6 multiples = 5 and

Total number of faces in the spinner = 20

Then :

P(multiple of 6) = 5/20 = 1/4
