Plant populations change over time by growing in size and diversity. They generally are the first part of an ecosystem after lichens (the pioneer species) and cause an ecosystem to flourish and allow for animals to move in. I don't know if this is the answer you were looking for but it should give you somewhat of a base.

What impact did slavery have on the southern economy? and how did it effect famillies?
valentinak56 [21]
The southern economy depended very much on slavery, using slaves to pick cotton and other things for the farmers. Normally the more slaves you had, the richer you were. Slaves were very important to the southern economy because southerners depended solely on slaves' labor. The families were affected when they could no longer keep slaves so the South was very mad because this was their main source of production. Once rich families no longer had laborers, causing loss of money and crops. The whole southern economy was affected by the loss of slaves but when slaves were allowed the southern economy was booming.

Which situation represents a business benefiting from global trade?
lisabon 2012 [21]

B. A company has new multinational consumers.

Explanation:

Global trade is the act where a business expands the places they trade from, which usually earns them more money and different types of goods.

A. A company creates new regional jobs. This is incorrect, creating regional jobs means creating jobs within a close proximity of one another, which has nothing to do with global trade.

B. A company has new multinational consumers. This is correct, if a company has multinational consumers, that means they are benefiting from global trade from other nations and creating ties to trade consistently between them.

C. A company invests in several business ventures. This is incorrect, this has nothing to do with global trade. We do not know if these business ventures are overseas, also investing usually is not a first-hand benefit from global trade in the first place.

D. A company becomes more successful and self-reliant. This is incorrect, this has nothing to do with global trade. Although many businesses become more successful with global trade, they usually don't become more self-reliant as they are now relying on numerous other multinational businesses and consumers.
