Why were european countries interested in finding a new route to the east indies?

History

The previous route was very dangerous and was also expensive to traverse. Early travelers encountered dangers such as war zones and diseases. They also had to cross deserts and mountains to get to their destination. Progress was made when a new route via the sea was discovered. This limited the perils that were once faced.

How did Americans come to serve in Vietnam? How did the draft work? Why did the draft anger many Americans? Write your answer in
Radda [10]
I am not going to answer in a paragraph of 125 words, but I will give you the answer to the first question; The United States didn't want another country to fall to communism. They officially got involved after the attack of the Gulf of Tonkin (U.S destroyers were stationed there and a radio came in that said they had been fired upon by North Vietnamese forces).  (45 words BTW).
