I edited this by removing the "her parents" that was said multiple times. The edited/added stuff is in bold text. “I think that Hannah’s parents will cry when they receive the tapes because they didn’t know what was going on so they weren't able to help her” one person said. Hannah’s parents were not really in her life. They weren’t home half of the time and when they were they would fight over the bills and money issues. In the show, Hannah was at home with her parents and she told them about how she was feeling and they needed to move because of the way she was feeling from everyone at her school. 13 Reasons Why is so popular because most students agree that it is based on real-life events. Conclusion: basically sum up what you've written throughout the essay :) Was the prompt exactly so I can give a better conclusion (reply to this and I'll post it in the comments under this).
The artist might be trying to convey that the subject of the song has been in love with the singer for a while now but the subject is too shy to admit it. Hope this helps! :)
