Bianca needs to paint a logo made using two right triangles. The dimensions of the logo are shown below. What is the difference

between the area of the large triangle and the area of the small triangle? Two right triangles are attached along their longest side. The smaller triangle has height 6 cm and base 2 cm. The height of the larger triangle is 7 cm and its base is 3 cm. 1.0 cm2 4.5 cm2 9.0 cm2 16.5 cm2

Correct Answer: 4.5 cm²

Two triangles of different sizes make up the logo. We are to find the difference in the areas of these triangle. Smaller triangle has a base of 2 cm and height 6 cm. Larger triangle has the base of 3 cm and height 7 cm.

Area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2} x Base x Height

So,
Area of smaller triangle = \frac{1}{2} *(2)(6)=6 cm²
Area of larger triangle = \frac{1}{2} *(3)(7)=10.5 cm²

The difference in the areas of triangles = 10.5 - 6 = 4.5 cm²<span />

The perimeter of a triangle is 25 feet.
shutvik [7]

25 = 5.2 + 8 + x

5.2 + 8 = 13.2

25 = 13.2 + x

25 - 13.2 = 11.8

11.8 = x

The unknown side is 11.8 ft.

Okay so in order to find the circumference we would first need to find either the diameter or radius of the circle. The perimeter of the square is 40 and each side is equal. 40/4 = 10. So the length of one side is 10. The length of one side would be the diameter of the circle.

Diameter = 10

The only thing that is left is to find the circumference.

The formulas for circumference are:
C = \pid
C = 2\pir

So just multiply the diameter by pi (3.14)

10 x 3.14 = 31.4
or 10\pi (Which would be the answer to your problem)
