Han Fei Tzu was the creator of Legalism. He believed that people needed harsh rules  and punishments just for people to do their everyday jobs. On the other hand, Confucius was the founder of Confucianism. He believed that the duties to the family are important. He also taught people to follow the beliefs of their ancestors.

Hanfeizi was the founder of legalism which believed that humans were naturally evil and needed strict rules and punishments for people to do their duty. Hanfeizi believed society needs a system of harsh laws. Confucius was the founder of Confucianism and believed that the duties to family was important. He convinced people to follow the beliefs of their ancestors. Ancestors, family and education was important to him. He believed in Ren/benevolence. Everyone has to work hard to make the world better.
