Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

It take 10 copies of 1 sixth to make the same amount as 5 copies of 1 third.

Amount of work in case of 10 copies of 1 sixth is given by

\frac{10}{6}=\frac{5}{3}

Amount of work in case of 5 copies of 1 third is given by

\frac{5}{3}

since both the amount of work is same.

Hence, they are same.

This is because (1/3) = (2/6). 10 copies of (1/6) = (10/6) and 5 copies of (2/6) = (10/6) too. (1/3) is just the most simplified form for (2/6)

Hey there!

We need to find the area of the hole. Let’s start off with the top rectangle. The sides are 11 and 3. Multiply the two numbers to get 33. Add the sqaure on the bottom. 3 x 2=6. Add the two shapes to get 39. The answer would be 39 ft 2.

I hope this helps!

Write the equation of the line with a slope of -5 and y-intercept of 12.
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

y=-5x+12

Step-by-step explanation:

Since slope-intercept form is y=mx+b, m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. We substitute m for -5, since it is the slope, and we substitute 12 for b, since it is the y-intercept. I hope this helps!

Komok [63]
<span>Let’s assume the number of problems as P Student did his homework = (3/5) P + 8 Father did the homework = (1/5) P + 7 So the sum of the both equations is equal to P => (3/5) P + 8 + (1/5) P + 7 = P => (4/5) P + 15 = P => 4P + 75 = 5P => P = 75 Problems they solve together are 75 problems.</span>
