The subjunctive mood is used to a wish, suggestion, command, or a condition that is contrary to the facts. The subjunctive form of the following words is placed after the equals sign.
is = been (subjunctive form)
was = were (subjunctive form)
Third person singualar verbs in the present (ends in -s) = remove the "s" (subjunctive form)
For this reason, the sentence in the subjunctive tense is, "If she <u>were</u> impatient, she would not be suited for this work."
