Answer: 900 inch
There is 3 ribbon in this question, Red ribbon(R), green ribbon(G) and purple ribbon(P). The relation would be
1. R= 9 inch
2. R= 1/10 G
3. P= 10 G

If you insert equation 1 into 2 then you will get:
9inch= 1/10G
G= 90 inch

After that insert the new equation into equation 3:
P= 10x 90 inch
P= 900inch

Hello!

The equation for an exponential deprecation model like this is y = a(1-r)^{x}, where a is the starting value, x is the number of years passed, and r is the amount the value deprecates each year.

We know what a and r are: a = 1600, as that is the original cost of the computer, and r = .18, as that's how much it decreases by. Substitute these two into the equation.

We get y = 1600(1-.18)^{x}. Now, subtract 1 - .18 to get our final answer.

y = 1600(.82)^{x} is therefore the final model.

Hope this helps!

The diagram below shows a three dimensional view of the pool.
shutvik [7]

Answer:

a) A_{f} = 408.54\,m^{2}, b) A_{w} = 106.2\,m^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

a) The floor area of the pool is:

A_{f} = (10\,m)\cdot (12\,m)+(18\,m)\cdot (16.03\,m)

A_{f} = 408.54\,m^{2}

b) The total area of the walls of the pool is:

A_{w} = 2\cdot (0.9\,m)\cdot (16\,m) + (0.9\,m)\cdot (16\,m) + (18\,m)\cdot (1.8\,m)+ 2\cdot (12\,cm)\cdot (0.9\,m)+(10\,m)\cdot (0.9\,m)

A_{w} = 106.2\,m^{2}

If f(x) = 2x2 - 5 and g(x) = 3x + 3, find (f - g)(x).
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
Answer: A. 2x2 - 3x - 8

Just subtract the functions and combine like terms
(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)
(f - g)(x) = 2x^2 - 5 -(3x + 3)
(f - g)(x) = 2x^2 - 5 - 3x - 3
(f - g)(x) = 2x^2 - 3x - 8

To factor this collect the like terms..2y would go with -7y to make -5y etc. Then factor the expression by factoring out 9 Your final answer should be 9(1-y+x^2)

If you need to simplify this calculate the sum or difference between numbers (3-1+7=9)
Your final answer for this should be 9-9y+9x^2

Hope this helps!
