In the given figure lines l and m are parallel.

m<5=38 and m<6=62.

The sum of angles are 38+62=100

<3 and 100 degrees (m<5+m<6) are lying on the same side of transversal and hence are supplementary angles for the parallel lines.

<3+100=180( supplementary angle property)

m<3=180-100(subtracting 100 both sides)

m<3=80

The right answer is 80 .

Take the 2 given angles 38 and 62 and add them together giving you 100 then subtract that from 180 for your answer of 80

Answer:

1.5^2 = 2.25

(it looks like 1.5 but if it's 15 then it would be 225)

Step-by-step explanation:

1.5^2 means (1.5*1.5) you multiply the number by itself by how many it says to do. So if it were 1.5^52 you would multiply 1.5 by 1.5, 52 times.

Solve x/4>_-1 and -4x-4<_-3 and write the solution in interval notation. If there is no solution, type the no solution sym
Rainbow [258]

The solution interval for x is x ∈ (-1/4 , ∞)

An inequality shows the relationship of a non-equal comparison between two numbers or mathematical expressions.

Here, we are given two inequalities

x/4 > -1 and -4x - 4 < -3

Let us take the first equation

x/4 > -1

⇒ x > 4(-1)

x > -4

Now, the second equation

-4x - 4 < -3

-4x < -3 + 4

-4x < 1

Now since we are dividing both sides by a negative number, that is 4, the sign of the inequality will be reversed,

x > 1/-4

x > -1/4

Thus, we get x > -4 and x > -1/4

This means that all values of x greater than -1/4 will satisfy.

Thus, x ∈ (-1/4 , ∞)

I really need help anyone know which option is correct.?
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

B, -\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

This problem is essentially asking one to envision a line passing through the set of points on the coordinate plane, then to find the constant of proportionality of that line. The constant of proportionally, also known as the rate of change, or the slope, is a number that can be used to describe the range that happens between points on a line. The following formula can be used to find the slope of a line passing through a set of points.

\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Where the points (x_1,y_1) and (x_2,y_2) are points on the line.

As one can see, on the given coordinate plane, the points (2,-1), and (4,-2) are on the coordinate plane. Substitute these points into the formula to find the slope of the line, then simplify to evaluate the equation and find the slope,

\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

(2,-1), (4,-2)

=\frac{-2-(-1)}{(4)-(2)}

=\frac{-2+1}{4-2}\\\\=\frac{-1}{2}\\\\=-\frac{1}{2}
