The correct answer is the leader of the state senate.

They are people who are basically second in command to the official governor. It's something like a vice president is to a president. If the governor dies then the lieutenant governor takes their position, and if the lieutenant governor dies, then the leader of the senate for that state takes it. This is common and is found in almost all states.

How where charbonneau and sacagwea useful to the group
Alika [10]

Answer:

Charbonneau bought land from Clark and briefly took up farming. He gave it up after a few months, selling the land back to Clark for 100 dollars. He also left Sacagawea and his two sons Toussaint and Jean Baptiste in Clark's protection. Sacagawea was of the Lemhi Shoshone tribe, located in the modern-day state of Idaho. … Sacagawea proved to be an invaluable resource on the expedition. She served as translator because she knew the native languages, which helped her negotiate trades with local tribes and explain that her group had come in peace

Which is true of the Elizabethan age?
Naya [18.7K]

Answer: 3. the arts thrived during the reign of Queen Elizabeth.

Queen Elizabeth I loved the arts, and this showed in the way the Elizabethan era developed. During this time period, the English arts flourished, and the era is sometimes called the "golden age" of England.

Portraits, miniatures, embroidery, architecture and pottery were some of the areas in which Elizabethan artists excelled. Most of all, the period saw a boom in literary production. Theatre was particularly popular, and this was the time of authors such as William Shakespeare and Christopher Marlowe. Theatre also became more accessible, as playhouses we established all over London.
