What were the details of the Great Compromise?
Neko [114]
I believe it was when small and large States decided to have an upper and Lower house. the lower house, house of rep, was to have the number of rep. be based on population. while the upper house, the senate, was made to give all states an equal representation in the government. this being based on statehood ,which earned two senators, and did not take population into account into choosing the number of senators.

In what ways does "Lessons for women" by Ban Zhao reflect Confucian attitudes?
Sav [38]
The Lessons for Women mirror Confucian attitudes because there are all about meekness, obedience, and playing ones part in the public. Ban Zhou would define an ideal woman as one who has feminine virtue, words, bearing, and work. An ideal husband on the other hand is one who controls his wife. He is resilient and rigid. An ideal matrimonial is when a husband controls his wife and the wife assists her husband.

3. Considered the historical the period what do you think that the authors of the Declaration meant by all
NNADVOKAT [17]
I would say that the phrase only applied to white people mainly because blacks were not considered citizens and were mainly considered property. The phrase had good intentions but it took another 100 or 200 years for blacks and other minorities to gain equal rights.
