Answer:

33%

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming the weight of the mixture to be 100g**, then the weight of ryegrass in the mixture would be 30g.

Also, assume the weight mixture X used in the mixture is Xg, then the weight of mixture Y used in the mixture would be (100-X)g.

So we can now equate the parts of the ryegrass in the mixture as:

0.4X + 0.25(100-X) = 30

<=> 0.4X + 25 - 0.25X = 30

<=> 0.15X = 5

<=> X = 5/0.15 = 500/15 = 100/3

So the weight of mixture X as a percentage of the weight of the mixture

= (weight of X/weight of mixture) * 100%

= (100/3)/100 * 100%

= 33%

Which of the following statements must be true about the polynomial function f(x)? If 1+ the sqrt of 13 is a root of f(x), then
son4ous [18]

The correct answer is: if 1 + 13i is a root of f(x), then 1 - 13i is also a root of f(x).

In fact, every polynomial has real and/or complex solutions. If all solutions are real, we're good. But if not all of them are real, then the complex ones come in couple of conjugate solutions. Since 1 + 13i and 1 - 13i are conjugate complex numbers, if one of them is a solution, the other must be as well.

Yes for the first one, yes for the second one, and yes for the third one although your subtraction equation had the wrong year (its not 1847 its 1846) but the answer was right, 65.

Nicholas started a canned-food drive at school. The equation representing this is y = 235x + 15, where x is the number of days,
Olenka [21]

Answer:

well, 11 days

Step-by-step explanation:

if you were to put take out the y and put 2600 in the y place (2600=235x+15)

you solve that, and will come to 11 days

further explaining:

2600-15 = 2585

2585 / 235 = 11

( I'm not sure if this is right, the question is worded weird and almost doesn't make sense)

but I think it is looking for substitution

Hope this helps!
