Which statement best describes why the “Revolution of 1800” was unique in politics at that time?
satela [25.4K]
The revolution of 1800 was unique in politics at that time because this was the first peaceful transfer of political power in the history of the republic and democratic-republicans addressed Jefferson’s victory as the revolution 1800. The transfer of power from the federalists to the democratic republicans in a peaceful way was the most important and surprising result of election and was singled out as a break from European precedent of violent and bloody power transfers.

The Cape to Cairo Railway is an uncompleted project to cross Africa from south to north by rail. This plan was initiated at the end of the 19th century, during the time of Western colonial rule, largely under the vision of Cecil Rhodes, in the attempt to connect adjacent African possessions of the British Empire through a continuous line from Cape Town, South Africa to Cairo, Egypt. While most sections of the Cape to Cairo railway are in operation, a major part is missing between northern Sudan and Uganda.

Hope this helps ;)
