Answer:

The Byzantine Empire began when Roman emperor Constantine I decided to relocate the capital of the Roman Empire from Rome to ancient Greek colony Byzantium. With the decline of the Roman Empire in the West, began the rise of the Byzantine in the East. Byzantine Empire began with Greek-influenced culture and language. Byzantine empire arts were very much different from the Roman. Art reflected upon the orthodox Christianity, depicting religious subjects of Christ, Mary and Saints along with emperors and their queens. Hagia Sophia remains a perfect example of art and architecture.

The United States is home to almost one-fifth of the world’s international migrants, including 23 million who arrived from 1990 to 2013 (United Nations Population Division, 2013). This figure (23 million net immigrants) is three times larger than the number of immigrants received by any other country during that period.

The successful integration of immigrants and their children contributes to the nation’s economic vitality and its vibrant and ever-changing culture. The United States has offered opportunities to immigrants and their children to better themselves and to be fully incorporated into this society; in exchange “immigrants” have become “Americans”—embracing an American identity and citizenship, protecting the United States through service in
