Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer that affect the men. The prostate is a small walnut-shaped gland in men, located below the bladder which produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm. Prostate cancer occurs when abnormal cells develop in the prostate and lead to symptoms such as trouble urinating, decreased force in the stream of urine, erectile dysfunction, blood in semen etc. The causes are unknown but factors like age and obesity can contribute to the development of this cancer. The abnormal cells can spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body.

Chemical elements are identified by names given in antiquity, derived from some property of them, from the name of their discoverer, from the place of discovery.
