1. Looking at the graph, the shape of the line is not changing. The line can be described as relatively vertical with point A on the top left of point b which mean there is no rotation or mirroring applied.
The line also has the same size as the original line so there is no stretch. In this case, the translation should be only shifting.
The shifting can be determined by using this equation to any of the points:
X'a-Xa=  3- (-4)= 7
Y'a-Ya= 6-3= 3
The shift is 7 to right and 3 to up

2. You can prove that it is right by applying the translation into point B. The calculation would be:
X'b= Xb + translation
X'b= -2+ 7 = 5

Y'b= Yb + translation
Y'b= 3+ 3 = 6
The point B coordinate is (5,6) so the translation is true.

ABC Office Supply offers an electric typewriter for $129.95. If ABC received a 15% markup on cost by selling the typewriter at t
const2013 [10]
A 15% percent markup means that the typewriter cost was increased by 15%, or 0.15 by moving the decimal 2 places to the left. If the original price was x, and 15% of it is 0.15*x, we can add them up to get 1.15*x=129.95. Dividing both sides by 1.15, we get x=113 dollars

Answer:

A rational number is a number such as -3/7 that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction a/b of two integers, a numerator q and a non-zero denominator b. Every integer is a rational number: for example, 10 = 10/1.

What is the completely factored form of t4 − 16?
Mashcka [7]

we know that

A difference of squares problem can be factored as follows:

a^{2}-b^{2} =(a+b)(a-b)

in this problem we have

t^{4}-16

Applying difference of squares

t^{4}-16=(t^{2}-4)( t^{2}+4)

the term

(t^{2}-4)=(t+2)(t-2)

substitute

(t^{2}-4)( t^{2}+4)=(t+2)(t-2)( t^{2}+4)

therefore

<u>the answer is</u>

(t+2)(t-2)( t^{2}+4)

Substitution. <br> 3x + 2y = 12<br> y = 2x – 1
Korvikt [17]

Answer:x=2 and y=3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that y=2x-1

Then, 3x+2y=12

3x+2(2x-1)=12

3x+4x-2=12

7x=14

x=2

y=2(2)-1

y=3
