In the poem Ode to the Seasons, William Blake personified each of the four seasons to bring the natural world to life. Each seasonal invocation can be read alone but, Blake intended for them to interconnect. It is most often interpreted as the cycle of life: the cycle of rebirth and death.

Personification is a figure of speech in which something non-human is given human characteristics. So in this poem, Blake is bringing nature to life, giving it the qualities that only humans can possess in order to portray what impact the natural world may have on humans.

Anastaziya [24]
The correct answer is satire.
Twain is being very satirical when he wrote about Jim and Huck talking about King Solomon. According to the Bible, King Solomon was the wisest man of them all, but Huck doesn't understand how that could be possible due to what he learned about such people during his life. So Twain tried to mock formal education and religion through this discussion.

Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

The tone of Alice Walker's power called "Women" is one of admiration for the strength of women in older generations who made sacrifices and wanted better for their children, like the author's own mother.

Explanation:

Alice Walker wants to convey how strong the women of her mother's generation were and how they made sacrifices so their own children could have a better life and more opportunities.  "They knew what we must know without knowing a page of it themselves" speaks to how the mothers advocated for education and understood how central it was for their children; though they themselves never had that opportunity themselves.
