It definitely changed and impact the thoughts of how the life came to be. The Miller-Urey experiment managed to generate complex biomolecules from simple organic comppunds. Basicaly they try to show that life can be arise from inanimate matter. This experiment is meant to support the soup hypothesis. Even though this is a famous experiment, we can say that there are many more factors included in the origin of life than a simple soup. Many scientists have speculate about life on another planet. For eample many say that Mars have the enough compunds in order for this experiment to be succesfull and bring life from organic compounds. Many planets, based on this observations, can have the enough "materials" to create life
