Pragmatism is the concentration of facts and practical senses than emotional tendencies. With that being said, the values of the Progressive Movement fit perfectly here. The Progressives fought for good working conditions, fair wages, and a non-corrupt government. These were all FACTS that people knew was wrong. So if we apply pragmatism here, we see that something is wrong and it is PRACTICAL to go out and fix it. That was the movement and that is why so many people partook in it because it "just made sense"
