If so:

f(n) = 2n² + 4

for n= 0 → f(0) = 2(0) + 4 → f(0) = 4
for n= 1 → f(1) = 2(1²)+ 4 → f(1) = 6
for n= 2 → f(2) = 2(2²)+ 4 → f(2) = 12
for n= 3 → f(3) = 2(3²)+ 4 → f(3) = 22   and so on and so forth

A computer manufacturer claims its computers will perform effectively for more than 5 years. Which pair of hypotheses should be
ale4655 [162]

Answer: b. H0: μ ≥ 5; Ha: μ < 5

Step-by-step explanation:

The null hypothesis (H0) tries to show that no significant variation exists between variables or that a single variable is no different than its mean.

While an alternative Hypothesis (Ha) attempt to prove that a new theory is true rather than the old one. That a variable is significantly different from the mean.

The mean is 5 years and they claim it will perform for more than 5 years.

Therefore, for the case above;

H0: μ ≥ 5; Ha: μ < 5

Note: a null hypothesis must always include an equal to sign.

It will end up a decimal since it is not divisible by 5.  The only numbers divisible by 5 end in 5 or 0.

234÷5 = 46.8

Step-by-step explanation:

The quotient is a decimal number since 234 is not divisible by 5

The only numbers divisible by 5 end in 5 or 0.

234 ÷ 5
