The correct option is A) “something that is used to decorate another object”. Teak is a type of wood used in carpentry. Decoration objects can be made of teak as main material.

Option B) and D) are incorrect since “teak” is neither a pillow nor something to prevent stealing. And finally option C) is also incorrect since “teak” is a type of wood material and not a tool.

This question is missing the options. I've found the complete question online. It is the following:

Choose the propaganda style that best fits the statement below. "My opponent, Governor Thomason has raised taxes, increased spending and lied to you, the American people."

plain folks

name calling

card stacking

bandwagon

Answer:

The propaganda style that best fits the statement is:

B. name calling.

Explanation:

We can easily reach the conclusion above via elimination. Let's take a look at each of the options:

A. plain folks: a style of propaganda that attempts to depict a certain person as "one of the people" or "average Joe". It's commonly used by politicians to show us they are ordinary people just like us. This option is INCORRECT.

B. name calling: a style that consists of saying bad things about one's opponent in order to make people see him from a negative perspective. Often involves attributing pejorative nicknames or adjectives to the other. This is precisely what we have here, since the speaker is calling his opponent a liar. This option is CORRECT.

C. card stacking: a style which manipulates information in order to make something or someone look better. This option is INCORRECT.

D. bandwagon: a technique that relies on the idea of "jumping on board" or "everyone else is doing this, and so should you." This is clearly not the case here. This option is INCORRECT.

Do you agree with chillingworth that it is best not to keep guilty secrets or do you agree with dimmesdale that sometimes it is
Wewaii [24]

I do agree with Chillingworth, it is definitely better not to keep a guilty secret because, in my personal opinion, keeping this kind of secrets is like swallowing a slow acting poison. This guilty secrets, when kept, make us behave in a way that might cause harm to others or to ourselves; in other words, keeping this kind of secrets allows the harmful, hurtful behavior, we are keeping within the secret, to continue.

If you decide to keep this kind of secrets, it immediately creates a barrier between you and the person who told you the secret, and eventually it would also create a barrier with the person that might be hurt by knowing what you have been told. It is actually better and almost a life rule, to live your life without having any secrets to keep at all and, also, to not do anything you can not tell the people you care the most or that later, as time passes by, you will regret.
