What was the first thing that the Ottoman sultan Mehmed the Conqueror did when he captured the city of Constantinople? Explain w
Sonbull [250]

Answer: He gave all Christians the freedom to practice their religion.

Explanation:

Mehmed II believed that there should be no coercion in the faith, so he gave all the Christians he found in Constantinople after conquering the city a guarantor of freedom of religion. This act is important because of the coexistence of a large number of people who were in Constantinople at that time. Mehmed II immediately made Constantinople the capital of the empire; his goal was to make the Ottoman capital a modern city.

What did Spain do after the American Revolution to discourage American settlements west of the Appalachian Mountains?
Lynna [10]
The answer is letter A.
Spain placed a heavy-tariff on American-made goods. This occurred after the signing of the Second Treaty of Paris in 1783 that marked the end of the American Revolution. Spain was the main colonizers of the Louisiana and Texas states during those days and they were blocking the mouth of Mississippi to foreigners preventing them to sell their crops. Guns and ammunition were also sold to native Americans that were part of this colonization and tariffs were implemented highly to prevent further selling of goods and for Spain to fully monopolize the trade industry.

How did the sovietd and americans react to the nazi death camps?
horsena [70]
Horribly, they didn't approve what the Nazi's were doing in the camps. America and Russia(im pretty sure Russia didn't mind that much at first because they used to be allied with the Nazi's until Hitler decided to attack Stalin) fought against it pretty hard since how inhumane it was, they were starving jews to death, treating them like animals, and doing tests on them.
