Salsk061 [2.6K]
For starters, technology developed and now a lot more people could hear these adresses and see them on TV and hear them through the radio and they could be recorded and studied. The Supreme court decisions were important because they decided what would happen to people and their rights. For example, the supreme court first decided that separate but equal was a good doctrine, but later they decided it was unconstitutional. How was the estates general useful in uniting France under one national identity
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Estates General was the common estate of three estates - First estate (clergy), Second estate (nobility) and Third estate ( commoners). Before the Estates General the three estates were rigidly divided and their interests were antagonistic to each other. The absolute monarchy and economic crises brought them under one common platform i.e Estates General. Here they began to shun the separate estates and fought for a common cause. Estates General paved the way for national assembly and ultimately united France under one national identity.

Scorpion4ik [409]

When parking downhill in a car with a manual transmission you should park with the transmission in reverse gear. Because the engine will not want to turn over backwards, which is what will happen if the car starts to roll forwards. Remember also to turn the wheels towards the kerb (Road Code) and put your handbrake on (older style handbrakes have a tendency to slightly loosen after being pulled on).
