Both their religions were messed up. Aside from trade and carving, We're uncertain how else they influenced Aztecs. But it’s believed they were the founders of the weird religious stuff the Aztecs used. Temple mounds, jaguars, many gods, and perhaps even human sacrifice were used by the Olmec society.

Okay I did Research on this because it was tricky to finding on my text book

The Olmec has full time priests who acted as a intermediate between people and the “Devine”. The Olmec possessed Aztec relics theywould preform sacrifices and such things, So Maya and Incas picked up and carried on similar RELIGIOUS practices and reformed throughout time.
