Artists take time in their work. They add all their energy into it. Artists bring life into their art work. They like to bring expression to their fans. If you can understand the imagery then you can understand the story behind the art. There’s always a story behind artwork which makes it so unique. It’s like reading a book but visually If you can understand the proportion and balance, you can tell how much effort was put into the work.
When taking in consideration all of the above, validating an artwork becomes increasingly simple. If you can look at a painting and understand how the artist used depth to create the image, you can validate that painting, or can look at a still-life sketch and tell if it looks bad or not because you understand proportions.
