Hey!
The water cycle is driven by solar energy, see solar energy is what makes water evaporate, which needs to happen for precipitation to happen, and precipitation reaches earth in hail, snow, or rain which will run-off into oceans and evaporate or just eventually evaporate.
So, yes, solar.
It's phase contrast microscopy
Because you need to contrast to see the specimen

<span>Algae are classified according to their color of pigment.
There are many different types of algae, which aren't necessarily related to each other and the most obvious distinction between them is their color. So we have Chlorophyta and Charophyta, which are green algae; Rhodophyta, which are red algae; Phaeophyceae, which are brown; Chrysophyceae, which are golden, etc.

The carbon cycle. Although it's not specific, it talks about combustion or respiration. The reason I chose the carbon cycle, is because nitrogen DOES appear in photosynthesis, but you were strictly talking about carbohydrates.
