Answer:

5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of kids be x

We are given that she charge $25 per day per child

So, she charge for x kids per day = $25x

So,charge for x kids for 20 days = 20 \times 25 x = 500x

Her expenditure per day per kid is of $5

So, her expenditure per day for x kids = $5x

So, her expenditure 20 days for x kids =  20 \times5 x = 100x

So, she gained for taing care of x kids for 20 days = 500x-100x = 400x

Since we are given that her target is to earn $2000

So, A.T.Q

400x= 2000

x= \frac{2000}{400}

x=5

Hence the minimum number of kids she has to watch per weekday that month is 5

Find the equation of the line joining the points (4, 9) and (-1, 0)
Fed [463]

The equation of the line joining the points (4, 9) and (-1, 0) is y = 9/5 x + 9/5

<h3>How to find the equation of a line?</h3>

The formula for calculating the equation of a line is expressed as:

y = mx + b

m is the slope

b is the intercept

Determine the slope:

Slope = 0-9/-1-4
Slope = -9/-5
Slope = 9/5

Determine the y-intecept

0 = 9/5(-1) + b

b = 9/5
Hence the equation of the line is y = 9/5 x + 9/5
